Photomania is conducted
exclusively in the online medium. The contest stretches from July 15th, 2013 to August 19th, 2013. The contest is conducted in TWO
phases.
I) PRELIMINARY ROUND
During this round the participants can send in their entry without sticking to any specific theme or genre. After a preliminary check for plagiarism including the google image search, verification of the EXIF data & other means, the entries will be posted in our Facebook page & the link to the same will be shared with the participants through mail. Now they can share their images & depending on the number of LIKEs it receive, it will be selected for the Audience Prize. Upon selection of the photographer for the final round, one will be intimated through the email id or mobile.
II) FINAL ROUND
In this round the participants have to submit their entry with the specific theme of "VOLUNTEER(ING)". The same process will be undergone again and the final results will be out on August 19th, 2013. The World Photography Day!

The theme of this contest is chosen as VOLUNTEER(ING) which is the central idea of Gnana Deepam Trust. All over
the world, volunteering has made a huge impact across ages. The theme was
chosen to celebrate the volunteers worldwide who offer their invaluable time
& resource for the betterment of the society around them.
