Rules

1. All Indians can participate in the photography contest.
DISCLAIMER:People who live outside India should have an Account in India for transaction of the prize money. Foreigners are not included in the contest due to the constraint of our area of location & the limitation of the trust (Deed).
2. Photographs must be in digital format. Only online entries will be eligible. The photograph need not be taken with a DSLR. It can be taken with the help of digital camera or even a mobile.
3. Photograph should not previously have participated/ won in any Contest
4. Only minor burning, dodging and/or color correction is acceptable, as is cropping. Any changes to the original photograph not itemized here are unacceptable and will render the Photograph ineligible for a prize.
5. Photographs that include sculptures, statues, paintings, and other works of art will be accepted as long as they do not constitute copyright infringement or fraud.
6. The photograph must not, in the sole contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.
7. All entries must be submitted and received by August 10th 23:59 hours for the Preliminary round and before August 18th 23:59 for the final round (if you are selected).
8. There is no theme for the Preliminary round.
9. The theme or topic for the Final round is “Volunteering”
10. If the photograph contains any material or elements that are not owned by the entrant and/or which are subject to the rights of third parties, and/or if any persons appear in the photograph, the entrant is responsible for obtaining, prior to submission of the photograph, any and all releases and consents necessary to permit the exhibition and use of the photograph in the manner set forth in these Official Rules without additional compensation. The conductor of the contest is not in anyway answerable or responsible for any of the consequences. 
11. Participants should submit the EXIF details along with the photo.
12. It’s an individual event and not a group event. Only one person is allowed per entry.
13. Only one photo is allowed per entry.
14. Prize money will be taken back, if copyrights are violated (If someone else claims that, this photo is theirs' and if it is proven).
15. Gnana Deepam Trust reserves the right to examine the original photograph/source material in order to confirm compliance with these rules.
16. Gnana Deepam Trust reserves the right to use the photos for their future use.
17. The prizes may be altered and/or be substituted with any other materials of equal value or as it seems fit by the organising team.
18.   The decision of judges decision will be final and binding.
